The Macallan ‘Archival Series’ is a limited edition release centered around recreating previous advertising styles of The Macallan from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

The Folio 5 is the fifth instalment and features an advert for the tale of a ‘Luggy Bonnet’ with the words ‘Keep this knot firmly tied’. The sketched image represents a scene of acquaintances at the end of the day on Speyside when a sportsman describes a ‘disaster’ in which the opportunity of a dram was missed. This occurred as a result of his hat covering his ears and as such the folio 5 captures the words ‘Keep this knot firmly tied’.

The Folio 5 is presented in a tin style book and also contains a hardback book and USB recollecting the advertising archives.
